Registration is open for a special “Science Of Slime” Family Night conducted by Team Genius Squad and Ava the S.T.E.A.M Princess, where your child will be creating and experimenting with gooey slime and learning about its unique properties! The Public Schools of Robeson County is committed to ensuring Child Find for Robeson County. If you suspect that your child (age 3-21) may have a disability, please contact us so that we can assist you in this process. Shining Stars’ will now offer two days per month in order to screen children ages 2 1/2 to 5 years of age with a potential suspected disability. The Long Branch Elementary Summer Feeding Site has been closed for the remainder of the summer. Members of the public in the area who wish to participate in the PSRC Summer Feeding Program are encouraged to attend the site at Fairmont High School.

**UPDATE** Due to anticipated inclement weather for Friday, June 23, the food giveaway event at Campbell's Soup has been postponed to a later date.

Based on the forecast for Saturday, May 27, all activities have been canceled. This includes Saturday Academy, Driver's Education and any other planned activities.

**UPDATE** BUS CLASS DATES CHANGE. PSRC WILL OFFER A BUS CLASS JULY 19, 20 and 24th. Faculty, staff, parents, and guardians of students of W. H. Knuckles Elementary school, due to afterschool teacher professional development scheduled today, there will be no PSRC tutoring. During our Policy Committee meeting, the recommendation was approved to delay the implementation of Policy 3450 – Class Rankings (Marshals and Graduation Honorees) until the 2023-24 school year. Class Rankings for the 2022-23 school year will take place at the conclusion of the third nine weeks as we’ve done in the past. Parents and students if you have additional questions, please follow up with your school counselor.

PSRC students in grades 11-12 can soon earn free college credit while in high school through the Career and College Promise Program at Robeson Community College. Registration is now open and will remain open through the first week of classes. Courses will begin on Jan. 30. Students should contact their school counselor to register or learn more! High School Seniors, the time to apply for scholarships is now! Are you interested in becoming an educator? If so, you can apply for a scholarship through the Brave Scholars Program with UNC-Pembroke! The deadline to apply is January 27, 2023! The “Ask a Healthcare Professional” themed PSRC District Family Night Event is scheduled to take place Jan. 19 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Southeastern Agricultural Center located at 1027 US-74 Alt, Lumberton, NC 28358. This event is made possible through a partnership with Alliance for a Healthier Generation.
