FAMILY NIGHT ACTIVITIES
The Public Schools of Robeson County plan to continue our series of Family Night Activities for the 2023-2024 school year. The objectives of the activities are to help families ensure educational success for all students and to provide relevant information to our parents/caregivers. Please find below the "tentative" schedule of opportunities .
Each presentation will began at 6pm, followed by question and answers and evaluations, all families are welcomed to attend.

September 28, 2023 | Please save the date for the first district family engagement night of the school year! Registration is open for a special “Science Of Slime” Family Night conducted by Team Genius Squad and Ava the S.T.E.A.M Princess, where your child will be creating and experimenting with gooey slime and learning about its unique properties! November 16, 2023 | November is National Family Engagement Month & November 16 is Parental Involvement Day! Join us as we "FALL" into science, technology, engineering, art, & math! Families will build their very own "Pumpkin' Chunkin' Catapults" to learn about velocity, trajectory, acceleration and more. November is National Family Engagement month! Across the district we will host " PSRC Family Appreciation Week" on this Thursday Nov.16 remember to wear your favorite team shirt for a PSRC Family Photo! February 29, 2023 | The HEART of it all! Join us for a heartfelt Family Engagement Night with a sweet spin. February is Heart Month which means it is the perfect time to bring some heart science to your home. Families will team up to build functioning heart models out of items we have around the house. March 7, 2024 | SpringTitle 1 Planning Meeting This meeting aims to provide parents, guardians, caring adults, and community stakeholders with an overview of the Title 1 Parent and Family Engagement Policy, Title 1 Parent and Family Engagement Plan, and how Title 1 is implemented in Robeson County and more. Please make plans to join us to provide necessary, valuable feedback on the Title 1 Policy and Procedures for the upcoming school year. | PSRC School Board |

Join us during our District Family Engagement Nights as we highlight a local author at each gathering to inspire our Robeson County scholars to explore reading and writing.
Students will receive free books!!
