ACT Reading and ACT English

North Carolina high school students take the ACT during their junior year. The ACT is a college readiness exam that can report scores to colleges and universities selected by the student. The ACT exam consists of four subtests: English, Reading, Math, and Science.

To ensure that our students are prepared for the ACT, the PSRC Curriculum department has incorporated the benchmark ACT English standards into our English I, English II, and English III courses.

Please see your guidance counselor for more information about the ACT and ACT test dates.
