Have you ever had a day or days where you feel like you are so overwhelmingly busy that you neglect your own self-care?

If you answered yes to the above question, fear not, you are not alone. Many of us have such
busy lives caring for others that we constantly put their needs before our own. Being a
compassionate, caring helper of others is fantastic. However, when we do not practice our own
self-care it could leave us feeling fatigued, depleted of emotion, and utterly exhausted.

We need to take care of ourselves first so we can continue to live the best version of ourselves and help others when needed.

There are several techniques you can practice to prioritize self-care. Check out the following
tips for self-care as mentioned on wiredforhappy.com: “wake up early and with intention – how
you start each day matters; check in with your thoughts – they become your actions; make time
for physical activity; connect with someone you love; practice slow, deep breaths; be kind and
laugh.”

So how do you reduce burnout and emotional exhaustion when time, energy, and financial
resources are limited? Click Here to Share Your Response.
