Dear Robeson County Families and Community Members,

Thank you for your interest in the educational progress of the Public Schools of Robeson County. The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction recently released important data on achievement measures from the 2020-2021 school year. The information found in North Carolina's District and School Report Cards provides a wealth of data related to various measures of achievement. This information includes the district, school, and student characteristics. Selected data points presented provide a sense of educational conditions and accomplishment.

The 2020-2021 school year was filled with pivotal and challenging moments. However, our school district took every opportunity to succeed and use the best strategies to remain safe while offering quality instruction. While the Public Schools of Robeson County faced challenges, our district continued to remain committed to continuous instructional improvement and improved outcomes for all students on a social-emotional learning level.

I strongly encourage parents and community members to look at this year's North Carolina District and School Report Cards to gauge where we are as a school district and our journey toward improvement. Should you have any questions regarding the information contained in the report card, feel free to contact your child's school, and they will be happy to assist you.

We continue to grow as One Team and are invested in reaching our goals as a school district. Thank you for your continued support of the Public Schools of Robeson County.

Best regards,

Dr. Freddie Williamson
